Drop an image, get it at exactly 512×512 pixels — center-cropped if it isn’t square, compressed to your target, GPS/EXIF stripped. Nothing is uploaded; it all runs in your browser.
512×512 is the avatar size Discord recommends (minimum 128×128 — but a 512 upload stays sharp everywhere the avatar is shown, including retina displays), and the same square shows up for bot avatars, app icons, and profile pictures on Telegram and plenty of other services. This page is preset to exactly 512×512: drop your image, download the result. Non-square sources are center-cropped to the square.
Discord allows several megabytes for an avatar, and a 512×512 JPEG at high quality is well under 100 KB, so the preset target here is comfortable and quality lands near maximum. If the destination supports WebP and you want a slightly crisper result from the same bytes, switch the Format selector.
One honest caveat: JPEG has no transparency. If you drop a logo with a transparent background, PixFit composites it onto white and warns you — pick WebP output to keep the alpha channel instead. Avatars are displayed in a circle on most platforms, so keep the subject centered. Other common squares: 400×400 (X profile) and 600×600.
