Drop your photo, get a 300×300 pixel JPEG under 100 KB — the format BPSC, DPE and the other Teletalk application portals validate. For the signature, set Exact size to 300x80 with a 55 KB target. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Nearly every Bangladesh government job application — BCS and the other BPSC exams, primary-school teacher recruitment, ministry and directorate posts advertised through alljobs.teletalk.com.bd — is filed on a Teletalk-powered portal, and they publish one photo spec. The BPSC portal’s own Help page states it exactly: photo 300×300 pixels (width × height), file size less than 100 KB; signature 300×80 pixels, not more than 60 KB, signed with a black-ink pen on white paper by the applicant only. Teletalk’s central validation tool repeats the same numbers word for word. This page has PixFit preset to the photo spec: 300×300 with a 95 KB target (97,280 bytes — safely under “less than 100 kbytes” whichever way the server counts). Drop your photo, position the square crop so your head is centred, download, upload.
The validator’s warning list is unusually specific, and worth taking literally because it describes the automatic checks: black & white, monochrome or grayscale photos are rejected — colour is mandatory — and so are photos where the face is too close or too distant, blurred, too light or too dark, obscured or uncropped. Teletalk’s tool states outright that it runs facial recognition on the upload. PixFit fixes the pixels and the bytes; it can’t fix composition, so start from a normal head-and-shoulders portrait in even light. A 300×300 crop is small — at this size almost any photo lands well under 100 KB at maximum JPEG quality, so expect no visible compression at all.
The signature upload has its own box: 300×80 pixels, 60 KB cap. Sign on white paper with black ink, photograph or scan it, then drop it on this page, change Exact size to 300x80 and the target to 55 KB — that lands under 60 KB in both decimal and binary readings. The 300×80 box is much wider than it is tall (about 15:4), so crop tight to the ink before resizing or the portal’s preview will show a squashed stripe of mostly paper. The signature tool walks through the crop-to-ink step. One rule the Help page states in bold terms: the signature must be yours — it’s checked against the attendance sheet at the exam hall.
Here’s the odd part: the BPSC portal has a Photo/Signature Validator page that checks your files against the spec — genuinely useful, run it before you pay — but for actually resizing, that same page links out to a generic third-party resize site that doesn’t know the 300×300 or 300×80 numbers and processes your photo on its server. Use the portal to check; do the resize here, preset to the exact spec, without the photo leaving your machine. If a YouTube tutorial or resizer site quotes different numbers for a Teletalk application, believe the portal and your circular — over them, and over this page too.
The same 300×300 / 300×80 numbers appear on every Teletalk portal we checked — the BPSC exam portals, the Directorate of Primary Education’s application instructions, and Teletalk’s central validation tool that serves the smaller org portals. In practice one resized pair covers most applications filed through alljobs.teletalk.com.bd. But individual circulars can and occasionally do differ — the advertisement PDF attached to your specific post is the authority, so if it states other numbers, satisfy it, not this page.
An application photo travels with your name, parents’ names and NID details, so it shouldn’t detour through a resizer’s server: PixFit re-encodes entirely in your browser, nothing is uploaded anywhere, and the re-encode strips EXIF metadata (including GPS) as a side effect. The output is a JPEG — the format the portals’ own sample files use. Apply only on the official portal for your post (the *.teletalk.com.bd address printed in the circular), pay by the SMS process the circular describes, and keep the Applicant’s Copy.
