Drop your photograph, get a 200×230 px JPEG between 20 and 50 KB — the SIDBI officers upload format, minimum included. Nothing is uploaded; it all runs in your browser.
The Small Industries Development Bank of India recruits officers in Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) and Grade ‘B’ (Manager — General and Legal/IT Specialist streams) through an online form that takes four image uploads. The detailed advertisement on sidbi.in (Advertisement No. 03/Grade ‘A’ and ‘B’/2025-26) specifies them exactly:
Photograph: 200×230 pixels preferred (4.5×3.5 cm), recent, colour, light or white background, JPG/JPEG, 20–50 kb — this page is preset to exactly that, minimum included. Signature: 140×60 pixels, 10–20 kb, black ink on white paper — capital-letter signatures are not accepted. Left thumb impression: 240×240 pixels at 200 DPI (3×3 cm), black or blue ink, 20–50 KB. Handwritten declaration: 800×400 pixels at 200 DPI (10×5 cm), written in English in your own hand in black ink, 50–100 KB. SIDBI runs its application on the IBPS platform, and these are the four IBPS formats — the signature and thumb & declaration pages carry the matching presets and scanning advice, and SEBI Grade A uses the identical set.
Of the tools selling a “SIDBI photo resizer”, one handles the photo alone; another does photo, signature and thumb but omits the handwritten declaration — the largest upload and the only one with a 50 KB floor, which a clean scan of a few handwritten lines routinely lands under (PixFit pads it up with a spec-valid JPEG comment, no pixels touched); a third has the right numbers but dates them 2022 and stops at the thumb. And none of them mention the advertisement’s separate rule for documents: every certificate you attach uploads as an A4 PDF of at most 500 KB. Scans from a phone or a 300 DPI scanner blow well past that — the PDF-under-500-KB page gets them in.
Besides the uploaded file, the form makes you capture a live photograph during registration — by webcam, or by scanning a QR code and shooting on your phone — passport-style, against a light background, no cap, no sunglasses, not blurred and not taken in the dark (the advertisement lists these as explicit rejection grounds). The advertisement also tells you to keep copies of the uploaded photo for every later stage and not to change your appearance until the process is over — failure to produce the same photograph, or doubt about identity, can disqualify you. The signature is held to the same standard: what you sign on the call letter, the attendance sheet and all future correspondence with SIDBI must be identical to the uploaded image, with “no variation of any kind”.
You may apply to one post only — if you submit multiple applications, only the latest completed one counts and the other fees are forfeited. An application without a photograph and signature uploaded is simply invalid. In the 2025 cycle, registration ran July 14 – August 11, 2025, Phase I was held September 6, Phase II October 4, interviews in November 2025, and the select and wait lists went up on January 23, 2026 — so that cycle is complete, and this page is here for the next one, which SIDBI has run roughly every year or two (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025). The next advertisement will restate the formats; the careers page on sidbi.in is the authority, and if its numbers ever differ from this page, believe the advertisement.
